SPARKLESTUCK III!!!
HELLO ATLANTASTUCKS AND OTHER NEARBY FRIENDS! Following in the footsteps of brave and ambitious events organizers before me, I am putting together another Sparkles Roller Skating Rink Homestuck Lock-In!
For those of you who haven’t attended a Sparklestuck, here’s how it goes down: at least 100 people (preferably) pre-pay a sum of $25, and we rent out Sparkles Kennesaw for the whole night! Your $25 includes skate rental, a dinner at around 11pm of a slice of pizza and a soda, unlimited skating and laser tag, and a 6am(ish) breakfast of powdered mini donuts and a juicebox. There’s usually a drawing party and a gift exchange, and cosplay is encouraged (and FUN!!) but not mandatory. We play music and skate and dance, play games, and have general nice great Homestuck fun until 7am, when we pick up our tired butts and say goodbye until the next meetup.
I’ve spoken with Sparkles’ lockin representative and gotten a few dates, but so far it looks like the best date is Saturday, January 26th. The event would go from Saturday night to Sunday morning. We need a minimum of 100 attendees to make this happen so give this post a signal boost if you can!
I’d like to get this thing rolling (ha ha!) as soon as possible, so if you think this sounds fun and you would like to attend, let me know, and be sure to indicate whether you are just interested or if you would like to commit to attending. Also feel free to hit me up for any questions you have.
